Repute is building a data platform for identity and reputation management, powered by blockchain. By utilizing an end-to-end encrypted, open-blockchain network for collective data collection and consent-based sharing, Repute allows organizations to quickly perform background verification and user authentication, enabling transactions such as apartment rentals, hiring, car purchases, credit availability and more. Data can be stored on the Repute platform (built on Hyperledger blockchain), shared upon consent from the user, and securely transmitted to enterprises for authentication purposes.
By eliminating friction in the authentication and reputation-setting process, Repute aims to enable enterprises to establish trust with its consumers in an easy and secure way.
